I am passionate about photography and have been a keen and devoted photographer since 1991. After completing numerous courses and workshops in all aspects of photography I built up a wealth of knowledge and enjoy sharing it with friends and family. My photographs have been published in magazines, newspapers, newsletters, annual reports and have been on display at exhibitions. However the photographs that I enjoy capturing the most are sometimes taken on the spur of the moment when I get a glimpse into someone’s joy or when nature is showing off her splendour.

I try to put my clients at ease by gaining their trust and confidence. This comes only by knowing your field and equipment very well. I am a member of the Photographic Society of Southern Africa (PSSA) and a founder member of the National Photographic Club in Pretoria. I also served on the committee for six years and enjoy being part of a club that is passionate about photography. Being involved in the formal structure of photography in South Africa keeps me informed of the latest techniques, equipment and trends. This ultimately enables me to say that “before you can break the rules of photography you must first know what they are”.
